The
Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) met in New Braunfels,
Texas for the 2008 Annual Convention in June and during the
meeting, hosted the TCCE Media Awards. The Comanche Chamber of
Commerce and Agriculture placed 2nd with the website,
www.ComancheChamber.org. The creative, professional design ideas
and content of the website was originally organized by retired
Executive Director Darlene Causey, long-time Chamber employees
Sandy Smith and Sherry Reynolds and Fred Turner of WalkLeft.com.
A Chamber Member, Turner of WalkLeft.com is the website host,
talented designer and keeper of the sight. Also placing in the
2008 TCCE Media Awards is a tri-fold "Experience Captivating
Comanche" Visitor's Guide. The brochure won 3rd place in the

The
Family on the 4th Musical Celebration brought twice as many
people to the CHS Stadium in 2008. Mike Carey and Martha Lynn

The
2007-2008 Student Chamber met on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 to
prepare for the upcoming year. Each member is required to complete
25 hours of community service and will represent the Chamber at
