What are you doing the fourth weekend in September? If you’re not in Comanche, Texas at the Comanche County Pow-Wow then you’re missing out! Everyone is a buzz about our new and exciting line up of entertainment. David Gish, magician and balloon artist, CCMA New Artist of the Year award winner, Clifton Jansky, old west performers the Brazos Bottom Cowographers, and the colorful Sahawe Indian Dancers are just a few of the attractions lighting up the City Park at the 2008 Comanche County Pow-Wow. There is so much going on, it is just hard to decide what to do first! We’ve got a Classic Car Show, Antique Tractor and Engine Show, State Sanctioned BBQ Cook-Off, Art and Photography Exhibits, over 150 Commercial and Arts and Crafts vendors, and some of the best eatin’ in central Texas at this annual festival. If you’re looking for a creative and economical family weekend, look no further!

Stay the weekend with us! Don’t miss out on everything else we have to offer in Comanche. Comanche could be your family’s most memorable “Staycation” ever! Tour historic downtown, take a couple of hours to tee off at PAR Country Club, try your luck at fishing out at beautiful Proctor Lake, or just browse around the quaint shops downtown. Come early on Friday and take the opportunity go out to dinner at some of the most talked about and unique dinning experiences in the area. We’re looking forward to seeing your smiling face at the 2008 Comanche County Pow-Wow September 27th and 28th. Make a weekend of it!
